Sind Sie Mein Doppelganger?

This is the photo I will be using. Its passport sized and on the back I have printed ‘Do You look like me?’ (Sehen Sie wie Ich aus?). Hope the German is right. I was going to write Sind Sie Mein Doppelganger? on the back but thought that it had a slight ‘lonely hearts column’ feel to it. had visions of burly Bonn men pushing the doppelganger issue in the wrong direction…

    but how about using the pictures that people made/simulated of you, for the other project (cuyo nombre no me acuerdo). Cos you could get not only a ‘real’ picture of you but the results of peoples memory and technology (not mine which was totally off the scale).

    Actually, this would make things too confusing in practise and also overload the aim of the project – it was your literary musings that got me onto it.

    actually, my initial idea was to use a police photofit id of my face, as i think this would open it up a bit, perhaps increase the possibilities of finding a doppelganger (photofits seem less specific than an actual photo). But, for various reasons I did not do this.

    Actually, the more I look at the version you did of me, the more I think you might have something…some likeness, not sure what tho. hope all well, in uk soon, will call.
